The Find Your Fade Shawl by Andrea Mowry is all the rage in the knitting world right now. I got on the bandwagon while everyone is still knitting it, which is quite unusual for me; I'm usually at least a year behind since my "I want to make that" list is so pesky long!
I have found that knitting something NOW is the best way to not only pull from your stash, but also a terrific way to justify buying MORE yarn. Like many knitters, I am addicted to Beata of Hedghehog Fibres. I selected skinny singles in greens since I don't have anything in green, or yellow, for that matter. This is why I often wear white or black t-shirts with my jeans!
I assembled my collection through my own stash, Fibre Space, and from Beata herself wth one of her many shop updates. This shawl is all garter stitch with what Andrea calls a little "lace play." Stay tuned for an update!
